We’re Being Parodied?

It’s hard not to laugh when someone pokes fun at you to let you know they’re coming. We’re pretty sure Darren’s the one on the right (since he’s, ahem, follicly challenged) and I’m the one on the left (since I’ve got a ponytail?!) which leaves Duncan as the bored one in the middle.

Instablogs is apparently coming right after us with 50 blogs all written by full-time bloggers on a large variety of subjects… And coming October 5.

I, for one, welcome the competition. I’m not sure if these guys are looking to become the next Weblogs, Inc, or if they trying to completely flood the space with hundreds of blogs. Either way, anything that makes us innovate is good for readers.

Plus, you gotta love a network that’ll announce it’s presence by giving me a free laptop. Just drop me an email guys, and I’ll send you my mailing address ;-)

Sorry Guys,
You are highly mistaken, guy in extreme left is supposed to be Jason C., with Nick sitting in the middle followed by sweet Darren.

However Jeremey you can wait for your turn as you are next in the firing line.. :)

Phew! I’m glad I don’t have a pony tail ;-)

Just a question . . . In the current search for authenticity, who would want to be Insta-anything? Oh I get it, they’re going for transparency. :)

They aren’t just competiting against other blog networks, they are competiting against every other website out there. There is still alot of ground to cover for the general public to be aware and start reading more blogs.
