My name is Tisa and I am a full-time Finance instructor at the University of Delaware. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching finance to anyone who will listen. :)

My friends and family members call me “T-Money” and with good reason. I have always been fond of money (haven’t we all at some point?) and became fascinated with the stock market at an early age. The real-time quotes, the news flashes…the excitement is undeniable! Everyday is different.

I have seen companies take fifteen minutes to double in value (unfortunately I only capitalized on this once!). I have seen companies deflate overnight. If only I could predict what will happen next…Warning: I can NOT predict the future! What I can do is provide market commentary that everyday people can understand. In fact, I appear on the local news pretty often to discuss the stock market. By the way, live TV is the greatest…CNBC, here I come!

Outside of the realm of finance, I love to volunteer. I started a non-profit www.thegwc.org in 2006 which keeps me pretty busy. We volunteer with kids, send care packages to soldiers overseas and award scholarships to college-bound youth.

I am a two-time graduate of the University of Delaware and I am studying to become a Certified Financial Planner (TM). The more I learn the more I realize how much more there is to learn. So, keep up with my blog (comments. please!) and maybe we can all learn a few things.
