b5media Appoints Salim Teja as Chief Operating Officer
TORONTO - November 13, 2007 - b5media, a global new media network, is pleased to announce the appointment of Salim Teja as the company's chief operating officer. With over 15 years of operational experience, Mr. Teja brings a great depth of knowledge on business development and corporate strategy as well as invaluable technology industry expertise to b5media.

Over the past four years, Mr. Teja has been a partner with Brightspark Ventures, a leading early-stage venture fund. Prior to joining Brightspark, he was entrepreneur-in-residence with Mosaic Venture Partners, where he focused on investment opportunities in the areas of Internet security, communications and electronic commerce.
Mr. Teja joined Mosaic Venture Partners after three years as co-founder and vice president of sales and business development for MobShop Inc., a pioneer in procurement software. His depth of experience also includes senior roles with MSI Consulting Group (a WPP Company) and IBM.
