Hi, my name is Nikki and I’m an addict. A blogging addict that is! I just can’t stop.
I was first introduced to the Internet industry when I working for About.com corporate in 1999, shortly after I moved to NYC with my husband Jason. Before moving back to Southern California a year and a half later, I had hopped across the street to iVillage.com and worked may way up to a Vice President in their Commerce department.
After our return to sunny California, I began freelance writing - working as About.com Guide for Kids Math and eventually running the Women’s Issues site for several years. Freelance writing gave me a chance to stay home with my kids - we have three now! I also began blogging in 2004 with my personal blog. I now blog for Prison Break Buff, The Hilton Files, Junior Celebs, and Approaching Lost, here at b5.
I have also written four non-fiction books including The Everything Card Games Book, The Everything Cryptograms Book, The Everything Lateral Thinking Puzzles Book, and Zen and the Art of Crossword Puzzles. I have completed a young adult book (anyone want to be my agent?) and am working on several children’s reader book series ideas.
I feel extremely lucky to be able to do what I love most, writing. I do my best to bring attention to my passions and shed new light on a variety of topics!
