New Blogger Benefit

Thanks to the new hardware we brought online this week (nearly sorted all our niggly issues with it), we have some extra capacity. And instead of squandering that on hundreds of new blogs, we’ve decided to offer our bloggers free hosting for their personal blog.

We figured that if we can save them 10-15$/month in hosting fees we should or, even better, if we can get them off something like Blogger and onto something more suited to their needs we should do that as well.

It’s not a huge benefit, but for bloggers who only pay for hosting to power their blogs it can be an easy way to save a little cash.

This is a great idea. Authors who only blog personally on one site and for b5media will be more inclined to stick with b5media in the long term.

I look forward to seeing what is offered up.

Jeremy,

we’ve decided to offer our bloggers free hosting

Just so I’m clear, your talking about just b5media probloggers at the moment being hosted, is that right? And not every Joe’s blog who wants one…

Joe: Yeah, just for b5media bloggers :)

That is really nice! It’s also a clever way to get more visitors to b5. ;)

A wise friend of mine says there is no act of mercy that doesn’t work both ways. God does that sound nice. :)
