Mary Jo Manzanares is a life long resident of Washington State, although she’s threatened to move a time or two. Most of the time she’s lived in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area.
Mary Jo is a graduate of Seattle University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She received her law degree, also from Seattle University, and is admitted to practice law in Washington State.
Mary Jo has worn many hats over her working career. Her current “day job” is as a Flight Attendant for a major airline. She also maintains her license to practice law, is an oft-requested speaker on the topic of communication and leadership, and is just now starting to resurrect a previously buried interest in writing.
At Flyaway Café, Mary Jo writes about travel from an insider’s point of view, sharing information that she has discovered in her years of flying and travel. She shares with you tips to make traveling less stressful, and more enjoyable, along with destination information from her travels.
At The Seattle Traveler, Mary Jo writes about her home town, covering events, arts, theater, attractions and everything a tourist would want to know in order to feel like a resident. And everything a resident would want to know for those times when they want to be a tourist in their own city.
