Hi! I’m Lauren Katulka, a passionate writer and music fan based in Gosford, Australia. ILauren Katulka live with my wonderful husband, Stephen, and our very spoilt Devon Rex kitty, Gizmo.

I’m a full-time freelance writer now after spending several years working in the media industry. I’m very happy about the change of pace, as I love spending the day in my pyjamas, taking leisurely lunch breaks, and indulging in my guilty pleasure of daytime television.

I write Oz Music Scene, part of b5media’s music channel. My blog has plenty of news, reviews, and gossip from the land Down Under. Through my blog, I hope to expose people around the world to the great talent we have in Australia, and keep Aussies informed about what’s happening in their own backyard.

I’m also responsible for The Sydney Traveler, one of b5media’s travel blogs. Here I’ll talk about what’s happening in one of Australia’s most beautiful cities. It’s a great guide for tourists and locals looking to get the most out of their hometown.

When I’m not writing my b5media blogs, I love to see live bands, play pub trivia, cook new recipes, and sleep in.
