Hi. I’m Kerri and I’ll be writing with Hsien over at PlayLibrary. (Thanks, Hsien! :) )
I am wayyyy new to blogging, having just started my first blog at www.mynameismommy.com in May. (Yes, of this year.) I’m still floored that I have an actual job blogging. Weird.
I am married to b5 blogger Cory, who can be found at SupernannyRules, HouseIsRight, Baldiness, and baldmanblogging. (No, that mugshot is not digitally altered. He really is bald.) We’ve been together since high school (sappy, I know), and just celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary. He’s a pretty cool guy to get to spend all my days with.
I’m mother to our three precious angels/raucous tenants (take your pick), and am home with them all day. Yes, that’s right, ALL DAY. They’re what qualify me to write for this blog. :)
I have a degree in Psychology, but have never used it (my mother is so proud). I actually spent more time working in a fast-food chicken hut than I did earning my degree, so I could be considered an expert there, too. (But I’m not.)
Let’s see…I love taking photos. Way fun. I read whenever I can (read as: whenever kids are not climbing all over me).
Our oldest, Samantha, starts kindergarten in the fall. We live in a bad school district, and so I will be wading into the homeschooling/on-line schooling arena very soon, which terrifies the pants off me. But I can add Elementary Ed. to my resume, if I ever have reason to write a resume again.
That’s me. I’ll get a mugshot out here soon. I know I always want to know what everyone else looks like, so I’ll try and get to that. Was it worth the wait? :)
