Hi. My name is Karen. I have been married to Gerald for 12 years and we have 2 children. As I write this my daughter is 3 years old and my son is 14 months old.
Until my kids came along I was a full-time elementary school teacher. Now my life has been turned upside down by these two beautiful kids. I was a stay at home mom for a while, then a part-time preschool teacher, a stay at home mom again with my second child, a part-time preschool teacher, and now I’m the director at a preschool where my kids attend. These are just some of the things I have been doing while the kids are young.
If you would ask my friends and family they would tell you that I am known for being thrifty and frugal. I love to save money. I shop the sales, clearance racks, yard sales, consignment stores, and am always looking for a way to save more money. I have several close friends that have told me that I have helped to change their way of spending.
