I fell in love with horse racing in Maryland as a young boy after tagging along to Pimlico with my mom and her boyfriend in 1980. I purchased my first computer after hitting the superfecta in the 1996 Kentucky Derby, and I subsequently began my career as a handicapper/writer.
I have been handicapping horses regularly for racingonthenet.com since the late nineties, and I was a contributor for The Fast Track horse racing radio show for several years as well. I have recently started a Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/calkid692002) page devoted to handicapping, and I have served as a guest writer/handicapper for nostalgichorse.com as well.
