Well, I was born to write about movies, and I thank my lucky stars that FilmGecko.com — my b5 blog with the fabulous Jeanne Dupuis — came my way. I love everything about it, from posting new trailers to writing reviews to interviewing actors and people scurrying behind the scenes.
I also write entertainment content for People.com, CinemaBlend.com, and Kaboose.com — TV and movie reviews, recaps, news, celeb profiles, and feature stories. I’ve been a professional freelance writer for 25+ years, and I’ve interviewed everyone from Hayden Panettiere to the cast of “Friday Night Lights.”
I write a family movie column, Reel Life With Jane, that’s syndicated to 300+ publications, mainly regional parenting pubs. My other blogs are Ruby Shoes (cool gear found in movies, TV, and pop culture) and Reel Life With Jane (everything that doesn’t fit elsewhere in my writing world).
