In the Blue Corner - Weighing in at 180lb - Technosailor

I’ve got the great pleasure today to introduce readers to the latest blog to join b5media - Aaron Brazell’s Technosailor.

Many of you will already be familiar with Aaron’s work both here at b5media (where he has the number 1 position on our b5’s bloggers list - it’s hard to beat a name like Aaron for alphabetical honors) and on Technosailor where he’s been blogging for almost two and a half years.

b5media rarely brings existing blogs into our stable of blogs but Aaron is a guy who has invested his life into b5 over the past year as one of our core team of workers. He’s so central to b5 that Technosailor was a pseudo b5 blog anyway and so as we thought about our blogging channel it seemed like a natural fit for it to be officially made a b5media blog.

The other exciting part of today for Technosailor is that Aaron has just announced a fairly radical redesign in which he is experimenting with it’s architecture. Technosailor can be read in three different ways - Current (standard chronological), The Conversation (with those posts that are getting the most attention and discussion at the top of the page) and The Best (a best of view where you see Aaron’s best writing from the history of the blog).

This new blog structure is sure to get a few bloggers talking and from what I can see happening in his comments people are already asking if they can get their hands on the plugin behind it.
