Personally, one of my favourite things to do here at b5media is to help people find stuff they love to do. Specifically, I love it when folk find blogs they love to write, that they’d never have considered doing before. So, when the Play Girlz recently posted about someone having “fun with screenshots” I thought to myself…
Me: Self, do you think they’d enjoy doing that?
Self: Yep.
Me: We should get right on that.
Self: Yep.
I’m a deep conversationalist, really I am! It’s been a few weeks since then, but Kapped has finally been born! Kapped is a blog which takes screen captures of your favorite TV shows, video games, movies, whatever the Kapped crew can get their hands and then they add funny captions. Get it, screen captures + captions = Kapped?
Yes, it was my name suggestion too, can’t you tell?
For this project, the girlz are also being joined by Jayvee from Cellphone9!
The current design is only until we have time to get them a spiffy b5media design - but, y’never know. I think it’s kind of cute ![]()

Great Idea Jeremy…
Really Cool. Kapped is surely going to make the top charts real soon.
What a fun idea! Wish I would have thought of that. There’s plenty of resources that people recognize and all you need to add is some insanity. Good luck. I’ll bet you’re having fun already!!
Smiles,
Liz
Damn you! I was thinking of doing the same kind of thing :)
Awesome!!!!! Original and fun. GREAT idea.
ugh .. can’t wait for new template! … (sorry - not a fan of that Travelogue template or any template I have to manually override my ViewText to a larger setting to read it)..
Actually … that’s a cool idea putting the captions directly onto the pictures (wish I’d thought of that) *grumble, grumble*… I’m just placing my captions as the title of each entry on my Papillon blog .. I’m also using the Excerpt field to relist each picture in a random display in my sidebar .. That might be worth checking into for this blog .. so we get to see previous posts too!
Yup … This could be another winner! Good Idea.
