Games Industry Wire

We have been sitting on this blog for a while. First it was issues importing from Blogger to Wordpress (this is based off of the contnent for a blog that’s been around for quite some time), then it was a busy author and we most recently switched authors (from the original to her brother-in-law!).

Now, finally, we are ready to launch!

Games Industry Wire reports on the news in the gaming industry. Written (now) by Justin Tippins, it analyzes corporate filings, looks at overall industry happenings, analyzes trends, etc.

In addition, regular interviews with gamers (about the industry), developers, newsmakers and pundits will be occurring - ultimately to try and give a global view of what is happening in an industry that is “bigger than Hollywood” (if you only count box office receipts, don’t count video game returns and stare at the numbers sideways) ;-)
