Nineteen years ago I had the fortune of becoming a childhood cancer survivor and the misfortune of becoming infertile because of it. After living and working in Poland and Chile, traveling to over 20 countries and spending two years circling the continental United States to visit all 358 National Park sites in it, we are embarking on our next big adventure: trying to have a child.
I currently live in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with my husband Michael. We spend our free time working on our website www.usa-c2c.com, procrastinating on writing a book (coming soon), cooking, hiking, blogging, watching reality TV shows, and dreaming of having a little one (or two) to hang out with.
Fertility Notes is a place to find all of the latest news related to fertility and options for those, like me, who have been labeled with the “I” word. I’ll share up to date information on third party reproduction and assisted reproductive technologies as well as introduce you to some of the fantastic women and resources I have found online. For those of you further along in the journey, we’ll also discuss issues around identity (I am adopted) and who/when/if/how to talk about how your little one(s) came to be.
