Entertainment Roundup

It’s hard to believe we’re already more than halfway through January of 2008. Crazy times. We’ve been busy in Entertainment, as you can always count on us to be.

I hope you’ve caught the first couple of episodes of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. If you haven’t, you don’t know what you’re missing (Terminator fan or not). And our SciFi star Cynthia has been landing exclusive after exclusive on this exciting new show. Like interviews with Thomas Dekker and Summer Glau - oh, and did I mention the contest?

Who could have missed the excitement of the first two days of American Idol auditions - the good, the bad… and the just plain weird.

JJ Abrams is all the rage - Lost returns in two short weeks, Cloverfield came out with a bang (either you love it or you hate it), Star Trek teasers just came out, and there is a new FBI thriller in the mix.

Evening talk shows are back up and running, much to the pleasure of all the night owls. Letterman has the benefit of the teleprompt for his comedy, but that doesn’t stop the other hosts. Heck, you can even hear Conan O’Brien attempt to sing "Blue Moon."

"But for the grace of god", Medium has returned for a season 4. Oh, House, how I’ve missed your snarky ways. I’ll take your "Wonderful Lie" any day. And Reno 911! comes back for a 5th season - yes, 5th. Prison Break is just a couple of days away - a tunnel, a chicken foot?

The CW has pulled out another cycle of Top Model to cover the strike gap, and the pictures of the new contestants have just come out. Some have definite potential.

I’m married and have three kids and I love music and movies. I also really love cooking and I’m working my way through graduate school for two degrees: distance education and psychology.

Who would you pick as the best American Idol contestants of all time?

Best contestants would be Carrie Underwood, Elliott Yamin, Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson and Clay Aiken.

Describe what you do as an entertainment blogger…
