Duncan’s Dirty Little Secret

When b5 first started launching celebrity blogs, we caught some flack. That’s largely because some people felt it was just reblogging content instead of original or creative content, which obviously isn’t true, but ah well.It’s just people who like a certain celeb or whatnot posting all the news, gossip, photos that they can find. Which is fine. Being different doesn’t mean it’s bad ;-)

But, when we first started doing celeb blogs, some folk weren’t impressed. In fact, a lot of people weren’t impressed. Duncan tried to mitigate the distress we were under by posting to The Blog Herald. The end of his post was:

Im reading most of the sites daily, and to me some of them are are totally boring, whilst others are brilliant. But I’m not everyone. For example some of the blogs written by Arieanna (in particular Mischa News and Hilary News) are very sucessful, and yet as much as I appreciate working with Arieanna, and I recognise she’s got a great writing stile, I’m not the least bit interested in the topic.

Yes, that was Duncan’s stance at the time. However, we’ve found his dirty little secret. It took some poking and prodding, a lot of emails and just a few tequila’s but we found Duncan’s dirty little secret: Duncan totally loves Britney Spears.

I’m not sure if it’s the blonde hair, or the tight red suit in “Oops, I Did It Again” or the fact that she’s married to a hillbilly. But no matter, he is totally addicted. We’ve been letting him vent his little secret for a few weeks now over at Britney Groupie, but all of the b5 founders felt it was time for Duncan to get help, and the best way to get him help was to expose his secret blogging.

So, today, we are launching Britney Groupie. Just to help Duncan out. Cause, Dunc, you really need help mate!
