I’m Dave Parrack, a 30 year old freelance writer, and long time blogger. I was born and bred just outside of London, and now live just outside Manchester with my girlfriend. My dream is to move to Cornwall, in the south west of England though, as I love the scenery and coastline.
I’ve been blogging since 2003, starting with a small personal blogger space to rant on. Now I write for several blogs, including my b5 blog Brit Music Scene, which covers the British music scene. Pop Buzz UK is a 451 blog about all aspects of British pop culture. I also love YouTube and write about the best and worst videos at Web TV Hub. Last, but not least there is Web TV Wire, a portal for all things related to Internet TV. I love every minute of writing all of them and am always looking to increase the blogs I author.
My personal blog is currently being rebuilt in to a massive and mindblowing phenomenon… hopefully! My style has always been very much a stream of consciousness, with the words flowing from brain to page faster than I can type.
As well as blogging, I also write poetry, and short stories, and harbour a passionate desire to have a novel published one day. Towards that end, I have started freelancing, and have successfully completed a number of assignments for a variety of clients.
My interests are many and varied, but focus on music, particularly British indie rock, writing, reading, and cult movies. I love live music and rate my favourite recent gigs as Muse, Keane, The Feeling, and Maximo Park.
