darlene_mcdaniel1.JPG My name is Darlene McDaniel and I am excited to be here at b5media. This journey has included meeting people all over the world that I never would have met, except through the internet and specifically through this community. I am a professional speaker, trainer, facilitator by trade. I have a passion for people development, specifically leadership development. I spent over 12 years in corporate america building a career in human resources, specifically training and development. After 9/11, my life changed and I left corporate america. While in corporate america, I wrote a workshop called Tough Questions? Great Answers! The workshop has been done with individuals and groups, teaching people how to effectively prepare for an interview. That workshop, and my desire to share the “secrets” to successfully navigating the interview process is what led me to writing this blog. I am a novice blogger, but I am an effective coach and facilitator who has had the opportunity to help many, many, many people get the jobs they were looking for. My recommendations are not a silver bullet, nor a guarantee, but if you apply the principles I share, you will be successful!

I have been married for 22 years and have 3 children! I have a passion for the color purple! I love to read, write and sing! I recently relocated to the Baltimore area! Tough Questions? Great Answers! is a workshop I developed over seven years ago when I was employed by American Express. The workshop was written to assist displaced employees with finding new employment either within or outside of American Express. The original workshop had 15 people, from that 15 all but two found employment within 45 days from attending the workshop!
