I created my very first web page in 1999 when I was pregnant with my twins. It was a really boring page with lots and lots of text and a few pictures scattered about. It was just a way for me to keep my parents up-to-date on my pregnancy. Thankfully I learned a few more HTML and CSS tricks since then.
In 2003 I started reading these blog things. I was intrigued and decided to start my own. In 2005 my blog grew up and got it’s own domain name at The Bean Blog.
I’m a mom of four and a custodial stepmom of one. My kids are 15, 13, 8, 8, and 5. They are all boys except one of my twins. She’s the lone girl swimming in all this testosterone. Poor thing. But she handles it well. She just ignores them.
I’m very excited to write for Weary Parents: Parenting Tweens and Teens. I’m sure my teenagers will supply me with an abundance of material.
