Brian Layman Joins Tech Team

We are all very excited about the addition of Brian Layman to the tech team at b5media. We continue to grow and the need for really quality developers continues to grow as well. I first came to know Brian through the WordPress hackers mailing list where he has been quite active over the past few years. Notably, Brian first came onto my radar with the Great WordPress Upgrade Script War of 2006™ where he released his own tool for upgrading WordPress blogs and I followed shortly thereafter with the script I developed for use at b5media. He has supposedly recanted his sacrilege in return for us hiring him. :-)

Brian is a well rounded developer having significant experience in SQL, Delphi, .NET and PHP along with a variety of other skills. He claims his development philosophy is, “If the user has to stop and think about what to do next, you have not done your job.”.

Naturally, we’re all very excited about this addition as the tech team continues to fill out. Welcome, Brian!
