I’m a happily married father of two adorable little baby boys, living in the south Dallas suburb of Cedar Hill. I’ve written for newspapers, magazines and websites for 10 years covering everything from city government to video games.
When most kids were being raised on Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers my mother fed me a steady diet of Star Trek and the Twilight Zone. I didn’t realize that was unusual until much later in life. So when b5 offered me the opportunity to join SFUniverse, I jumped at it as Capt. Kirk would jump at a chance to violate The Prime Directive.
There are few fans in entertainment as passionate as sci-fi fans. Their letters bring shows like Jericho back from cancellation. Their conventions are the stuff of legend. Their love of the genre is like nothing else and I’m proud to count myself among them. Blogging and the communities it creates are a natural extension of the close knit bonds between those fans.
My all-time favorite shows are Buffy The Vampire Slayer, the Incredible Hulk and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Currently I can’t get enough of Battlestar Galactica, Lost and Sarah Connor Chronicles.
