b5media currently has around 80 bloggers partnering with it on its 150+ blogs. Whilst each one of them is at a different stage with their blog and is therefore earning a different amount via our revenue share agreement it’s an exciting thing to see the payments go out each month and to know that an increasing number of those who are working with us are starting to see a good percentage of their total income coming from blogging.
Of course what’s happening at b5 with a number of our bloggers going full time is reflective of what is happening in the wider blogosphere as blog networks grow, individuals build their blogs and as companies look to hire bloggers to maintain their business blogs.
Out of this maturing of the industry I’m proud to announce, in conjunction with b5, the launch of the ProBlogger Job Boards - a place where bloggers looking for blog jobs and those looking to hire them meet.
I won’t go into the full details of the why and how of the launch here (I’ve posted more on that at ProBlogger here and here) however wanted to say that if you’re looking to join b5media as a blogger then the place to start will be on the boards - particularly in the blog network page where b5media has already advertised a number of job vacancies. Keep an eye on the page or subscribe to the blog job RSS feed for future b5 positions.

This is a great idea! I’m not sure why it wasn’t done sooner. I’m sure you’ve beat the 800 pound gorillas of Monster, CareerBuilder, and HotJobs to the punch as well for this employment niche. I spent a year working in recruiting so this is an obvious interest alert for me. Keep it up!
