Blog Applications Update

Another week has arrived and we’re looking forward to seeing how the blogs in the network perform now that some of the initial attention we received from the launch subsides. Traffic over the weekend was surprisingly good (for a weekend) and a number of our blogs are getting some decent traffic already.

We’ve had over 100 bloggers responding to our Call for Bloggers to Join b5media. We’ve responded to each blogger to let them know that their application has been received (let us know if you didn’t get an acknowledgement) and are now in the process of shortlisting the first round of applicants.

The quality of the pitches for new blogs that we’ve received so far have been of a very high standard both in terms of the ideas and the bloggers themselves. We can’t wait to go live with some of the new blogs as some are truely unique.

We’re currently on track to have a shortlist for the next round of b5 blogs in around two weeks time with more new blogs being announced in the week or so after that.

We’re not shutting off the application process so feel free to keep pitching us your ideas via the process we have outlined.

I think someone asked this earlier on a previous post, but I didn’t see a reply.

Can I borrow your call for bloggers post for use later? With some modifications of course.
