Hi, my name is Becky Scott. I’m a writer, editor, and avid reader. I’ve been blogging since around 2003 when I saw an article in Computor Edge about this “new thing” called blogging and thought it sounded fun. I’ve been writing online ever since.
My personal blog is misspriss.org. I write about being a mom, writer, techno-geek, and whatever else strikes my fancy at the time. I also blog on my portfolio site about writerly subjects, mostly, and elsewhere about weddings, celebrity real estate gossip, and car advice for women.
I’ve worked in higher education, sales, telecomm, and property management. I have experience in technology, software development, SEO, social marketing and parenting. Of those, my parenting gig is the most challenging and incredible thing I’ve ever done, and I love every minute of it (diapers and all).
I have a degree in English from San Diego State University. And yes, I actually use my degree, contrary to popular belief about English majors. :)
I moonlight as an amateur photographer, taking advantage of the amazing photographic opportunities in picturesque San Diego. I live there with my husband and infant son.
