Taking up residence at Homely Scientist, Tris also works outside the home at Qumana and A View from the Isle. While he’s well-known on the problogging circuit, many of you may not know that Tris is actually a scientist at heart.

Tris has got the credentials to prove it. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Maine Climate Change Institute (formerly the Institute of Quaternary Studies) and specialized in geology, botany, archaeology, basic glaciology, meterology, paleoclimates, global climate change, and paleoecology. PS You might not want to argue over the existence of global warming with him because he will kick your butt.
