As any project grows, you learn certain mistakes. One of ours has been a reliance on buying domains with the words “blog” or “weblog” or some variation in them. We realized early on that these types of names simply don’t make great brands.
So, it wasn’t much of a surprise to use when The Sports Weblog and The Movie Weblog didn’t do so well in terms of traffic.
As a result, we’ve relaunched The Movie Weblog as Film Gecko. Obviously we’ve redirected all links to The Movie Weblog to Film Gecko, so the transition should be seamless. Feel free to wander on over and give Jacob and Erin a howdy-doo :)
