b5media Acquires …

One of the things everyone asks when a Web 2.0 startup lands VC funding is “what are you going to do with the money”. While we stayed pretty coy about it, anyone who knows us knows we’re all about spending the money. And the fastest way to spend money is… acquiring a company!

So it’s with great pleasure that we are announcing that we are acquiring Ben Bleikamp*!

Ben was responsible for our recent site redesign, and after seeing what he could do in 3 days and for peanuts we’ve decided to hire him on for cashews!

We’re all incredibly excited to see Ben join us, so thanks Ben!

* all previous produced work will remain the property of the Bleikamp Corporation. The employees of the Bleikamp Corporation will be free to do other work, including pursuing their studies and flirting with girls, though young boys will remain off-limits for the duration of employment.
