ArieannaSchweberHi, my name is Arieanna Schweber (maiden name, Foley). I make my blogging home at Blogaholics with my husband Ianiv. I have been blogging since December, 2004 and have been a so-called professional blogger since May, 2005. I write over a dozen blogs - from Blogaholics to Blogging Help to Vancouver Coffee and so many more.

I started blogging in a business environment, despite my non-geekery at the time. My husband Ianiv had tried to sell me on the benefits of blogging and wikis, but it wasn’t until I experienced them first-hand in a business environment that I converted to a serious advocate in their favour. That, and they became fun and addictive.

I have a degree in Business Administration (BBA) - Marketing and Communications - from Simon Fraser University, here in "Beautiful British Columbia." Given my background, when I saw the power that blogs, and the process of listening and responding, brought to business communications (as well as the positive SEO) I threw myself behind them and never turned back. So, here I am.

I live in Vancouver, BC (Canada), work at home happily blogging away far too much, and with great satisfaction. Aside from blogging for myself, I offer consulting services through Blogaholics Consulting in the development of blogs, and the professional writing therein.

Here at b5, I am the Channel Editor (CE) for Entertainment (Spekked.com) and the 35+ blogs that make up that channel. More than two years ago, I saw the opportunity to take the successful ultra-niche concept of forums and boards into blog format - creating a fan community in a different way. I have never regretted the decision. I have never seen such an active and supportive community base as in this segment. As CE, I am privileged to work with many talented and dedicated bloggers who bring passion to this great space.
