Alejandro is from all over the place. He was born in Nicaragua but his parents are Venezuelan and Cuban. As a result, he was just slightly mediocre at sports that included, but were not limited to, soccer, tennis and baseball. He bounced around Latin America until he was five until he moved to outside Washington D.C. and discovered American sports in the form of all the Washington teams and one baseball team from Baltimore that shall not be named (thankfully, Washington got it’s own team. They’re called the Nationals and they might not be there in 10 years).
Currently, Alejandro lives in New Orleans and is slowly coming up with a legitimate reason as to why he moved there. Also, Alejandro writes for DeJuiced, the Best of New Orleans Blog and, on occasion, ESPNtheMag.com. Feel free to e-mail Alejandro and tell him how cool/funny/handsome he is because, as an only child, he has a crippling need for attention.
