A Lifestyles Quantum Leap

quantum-leap

2008 is a leap year, which means that it has 366 days instead of the usual 365 days that an ordinary year has. An extra day is added in a leap year—February 29—which is called an intercalary day or a leap day.

In honor of leap year and at the suggestion of Marcie at A Child Chosen, the b5media Lifestyles channel has taken it’s own Quantum Leap of sorts with posts to commemorate the extra 1/4 day that’s added to our annual solar calendar.  It’s nice to keep a balance, isn’t it?

Those Lifestyle blogs that took the quantum leap are:

A Child Chosen with Four is the New Two

Layers Upon Layers - A mixed media “quantum leap”

My Crime Space takes a bit of a Quantum Leap

Mother Earths Garden takes a Gardening Leap

Jewelry and Beading - a Jewelry Quantum Leap

Tangled Thread - Leap years & the Lifestyles channel

BlogFabulous - An Election Flashback

Baking Delights takes a look back at menu plans from 4 years ago

Kettle and Cup - Leap Back and Leap Ahead

Marriage Actually takes a look back with little ones and ahead to life with teens.

Quilting and Patchwork - Where was Quilting and Patchwork 4 years ago?

Babylune with Leap into Life

When you take a look back at four years ago and to the possibilities of four years from now, you can see what a huge difference a few years can make.

What will you be doing with the special gift of a full extra day this leap year brings?
